We cross the desert landscape (salt lakes, black desert with volcanic stones, dray rivers &#8230; ), Paris-Dakar tracks by meeting with a Berber nomads, mines of M&#8217;Ifis, small oasis and villages like Khamlia of the black people of Sudan (Gnawa). <p>In the morning after breakfast, departure from Marrakech to Meknes, the smallest of the imperial cities. The visit of this city will begin by crossing Bab Mansour, the most important and notable of the gates of Meknes. From here to the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, where appropriate clothing is required. From here to the Hri Moulay Ismail granaries; this grain deposit is the most important monument of the imperial city, built with walls of beaten clay mixed with stones and straw (pisé). We will then enter the heart of the medina by crossing the El-Hedim square, visiting its market and the Da Meknes souks. Dinner and accommodation in a typical riad</p>

<p>After breakfast, departure from Meknes to Fes to visit the old city of Fes (Fes el-Bali) and its medina, the largest and most famous in the Arab world, entering from Bab Boujloud, the most famous gate and heading towards Dar Batha , a Hispanic-Moorish building that houses a beautiful museum of popular art, then continuing with a visit to the Bou Inania madrasa, the Koranic school of Fes, where young people studied the Koran between rooms, oratory and a magnificent patio. dinner in a local restaurant, accommodation in a hotel with a swimming pool.</p>
<h4><b><span style="color: #dc4662;">Day 4:</span> Fes / Ifrane / Azrou / Midelt &#8211; Merzouga.</b><b> </b></h4>
<p>After breakfast we will leave for Ifrane, an exceptional site at 1650 m, nicknamed the &#8220; Switzerland of Morocco &#8221; where you can admire the storks that nest on the roofs of the houses. Afterwards we will take a walk in Ifrane and then we will leave in the direction of Merzouga, in the Sahara desert. The first village we will meet along the way is Azrou, of Berber origin, located in the heart of a natural park of 53,000 hectares on a limestone plateau bordered by cedar and holm oak forests, in the midst of ancient volcanoes. Azrou is also very famous for the presence of many monkeys in the surrounding forest. We will then take the road that climbs the Middle Atlas up to the Zad pass and the town of Midelt at 1488 m above sea level. south . We then arrive at Rissani, the gateway to the desert and from here to Merzouga in the late afternoon, to settle in a typical riad with a swimming pool, before sunset which can be admired by taking a walk from the nearby dunes of Erg Chebbi. typical dinner in front of the fire and to the rhythm of the drums and songs of the Berber, Tuareg and  southern  Morocco populations. Dinner and accommodation in a typical riad</p>

<p>After breakfast and a refreshing swim in the pool, we will take the Machine for a tour to the caves where the natural fossils of the desert are found, then we will pass through the small and ancient village of Tissrdmin where many films have been filmed, taking the road where the Paris Dakar rally passes and we pass through the black desert with its volcanic stones where we will have tea with a Tuareg family. Then we arrive at the village of Kamlia, famous for its inhabitants from black Africa and for their music. This village is also very famous for the music and dance festival which takes place every year during the first week of August. From here we will go to see Dayet Srji Lake with its pink flamingos. We will then return to Rissani where we will eat Berber pizza with its 44 spices with a Tuareg family, with which we will learn about traditions, customs and traditions and we will be shown the objects that arrive here with the caravans. Rissani was once the economic capital of Morocco and the center of the caravans leaving for the desert. We will then visit the Kasbahs of this town. <p>After breakfast in the hotel, you will depart early in morning for Erfoud (about 7 hours drive) and pass through the <strong>Middle Atlas Mountain</strong> range en route. This journey continues along through the dramatic <strong>Ziz Gorge</strong>, passing the ancient<strong> holy city of Rissani, </strong>where you will find <strong>the ruins of Sijilmasa</strong>, a once capital and merchant stopping locale for the ancient caravan routes of the 8th century. When arrive at Erfoud, we continue our adventure by heading towards the <strong>dunes of Erg Chebbi</strong>, possibly the largest dunes in the Sahara desert.</p>

En-route, drive pass the <strong>Todra Gorge</strong> for some wonderful photos. Before reaching Ouarzazate,bypass skoura oisis as on of the most beautiful date valleys, arrive to ouarzazate as a military small town however, it has an interesting history from the ancient caravans trade along the salt routes in Africa. We continue after lunch to Overnight in the world largest film studio village called <strong>Ait Ben Haddou</strong>.</p>

<p>We will make an early morning departure from Marrakech to cross the Tichka pass in the High Atlas Mountains with a short stop for coffee and a visit the argan oil cooperative. We will stop for lunch at UNESCO World Heritage site, Ait Ben Haddou, the most famous Kasbah in Morocco.  After lunch we will continue through the Skoura Oasis, where numerous ancient Kasbahs stand amongst the palm trees. From here, the route takes us through Kela’a M’gouna, the Valley of Roses, with a stop to see cosmetics locally made from the valley’s abundant roses. We will continue to the Dades Gorge where we will stay in a hotel by the river for the night.</p>
<h4><span style="color: #db4360;">Day 2:</span>  Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Merzouga</h4>
<p>After breakfast, we will have time to walk by the river before continuing to Todra Gorge for lunch. We will drive via the town of Erfoud to arrive at Erg Chebbi hotel early afternoon. We will prepare for departure on the camel into the desert to see the sunset on top of the dunes. We will have a traditional tagine dinner, drink delicious mint tea, listen to traditional Berber music while watching the stars and the rising moon in the amazing Sahara desert.  We will spend the night in a  traditional nomad tent.</p>
<h4><span style="color: #db4360;">Day 3  :</span>  Merzouga –- Agdez – Ouarzazate – Marrakech</h4>
<p>We will rise early to see the spectacle of the sunrise over the dunes of the Sahara before making our way back to the hotel for breakfast and a shower.  We will  pass through Rissani, the ancient capital of Morocco. The drive will take us through the Berber villages of Alnif and  N’Kob  and through the Draa Valley to Agdz.  We will continue to Ouarzazate, where we will have lunch and visit the Taourirt Kasbah. We will return to Marrakech over the High Atlas mountains.</p>

			<p><strong>Camel Trek Merzouga  – 2 nights in Merzouga Erg Chebbi </strong></p>
<p>This trip begins after a relaxed lunch (depending on when you arrive). The camels will be packed with food, blankets and everything else which we will need. The trek will start right into the desert, where it is completely secluded. The camp is located beside aproximatly a 120 meters high dune, which is where you will be spending hours of fun sandbording. During the first night, there will be a wonderful dinner around a campfire. In the morning, after having breakfast we will have around 2 hours to reach our next destination. We will stop for lunch next to a desert tree ‘Tamarist’ for about 1 1/2 hrs. In the shadow of this tree, we will have our lunch. After lunch we head towards the home of a Touareg family with whom you will spend your second night and share some time with. Next day we take you back to the village after having your breakfast. *Note, this tour can be done in reverse. The first night is spent with a Touarey family and the second night is spent at the oasis. Sandboarding with take place on day 2 after departure from the Touarey family.</p>

			<p><strong>Camel Trek Merzouga – 2 nights in Merzouga Erg Chebbi</strong></p>
<p>This trip begins after a relaxed lunch (depending on when you arrive). The camels will be packed with food, blankets and everything else which we will need. The trek will start right into the desert, where it is completely secluded. The path we take willl lead us to a small oasis right in the middle of the dunes. This is where we willl spend the night. It will be a magical night when the sky is clear of cover and stars sparkle and shine with intensity. During the first night, there will be a wonderful dinner around a campfire. In the morning, after having breakfast we will have around 2 hours to reach our next destination. We will stop for lunch next to a desert tree ‘Tamarist’ for about 1 1/2 hrs. In the shadow of this tree, we will have our lunch. After lunch we head towards the home of a Touareg family with whom you will spend your second night and share some time with. Next day we take you back to the village after having your breakfast. *Note, this tour can be done in reverse. The first night is spent with a Touarey family and the second night is spent at the oasis.</p>
