  From there, departure to Erfoud, a city located in an Oasis in the Sahara desert, in the Draa-Tafilalet region to reach the Todra Gorges in Tinghir. Day 6: Merzouga / Todra Gorges / Dadés Valley:

After breakfast in the hotel, you leave late from Chefchaouen to Fez. During the transfer, enjoy some brief touring stops including a visit to the ruins of the ancient city of Volubilis and the holy city of Moulay Idriss. Upon arrival into Fez, a hotel drop-off is provided.

Fez Discovery

After breakfast you will begin your guided tour to the Fez Medina, a perfect introduction for your trip in Morocco. You will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other art objects of Morocco. Continue your visit to the UNESCO site – University of Al Quaraouiyyne, the El-Attarine Medersas and the tanneries for leather from 13^th century.

Fez – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast in the hotel, you will depart early in morning for Erfoud (about 7 hours drive) and pass through the Middle Atlas Mountain range en route. This journey continues along through the dramatic Ziz Gorge, passing the ancient holy city of Rissani, where you will find the ruins of Sijilmasa, a once capital and merchant stopping locale for the ancient caravan routes of the 8th century. When arrive at Erfoud, we continue our adventure by heading towards the dunes of Erg Chebbi, possibly the largest dunes in the Sahara desert.

The camels will be waiting for us all saddled up and ready to go for an amazing experience out  within the sand dunes of the sahara, Witness the sunset from over the desert dunes and be astounded by the peace and calm as well as the changing colors of the landscape!

Merzouga – Erfoud – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou

Get up early to enjoy the sunrise over the Sahara. After breakfast, you will be transferred back by camels to your vehicle’s catch up point, where you have breakfast, then you drive to Ouarzazate. En-route, drive pass the Todra Gorge for some wonderful photos. Before reaching Ouarzazate,bypass skoura oisis as on of the most beautiful date valleys, arrive to ouarzazate as a military small town however, it has an interesting history from the ancient caravans trade along the salt routes in Africa. We continue after lunch to Overnight in the world largest film studio village called Ait Ben Haddou.

Ait Ben Haddou-Imlil

Enjoy the spectacular views of Ait Ben Haddou Ksar as an old village full of Kasbahs from 9^th century it took place for many movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones… Next comes the Village of Telouet, The route is scenic, after that, continue driving through the highest pass in Morocco called Tichka (2260m) before we arrive to Imlil and hosted by a berber family for the night.

Please note that today will be the longest day of your trip.

Imlil-Essaouira

Imlil is a small town situated in the heart of the high Atlas mountains, today’s journey will take you into a deep discovery of the local Berbers to learn about traditions and customs of thousands of years, direct interaction with Berbers, enjoy wonderful landscape along the way.

The village is at the foothill of Toubkal Mountain, standing at 4167m, main Attraction for Mountain lovers for walking, ice climbing or skiing in Morocco; high altitude plateaus for the Berber transhumant, learn about the Berber’s lifestyle in the valleys and visit several Berber villages with traditional architecture, terraced fields built at the foot of high mountains and magnificent panoramas over the range of Toubkal and the surrounding mountains. A wide range of sublime views to enjoy during this journey…before we head up for the coast to explore Essaouira.

Guided historical tour in the morning to Visit the fortifications that ring the city were built by the Portuguese and are inherent to the charm of Essaouira. You will have time to see the other attractions including the port, where a daily supply of fresh fish can be found, and the tremendous beach that stretches away to the south. as an old Jewish settlement, the best workshop been preserved is silversmith’s work on jewelry for any interests.

The guided tour will be for 3 hours with an included lunch experience if you are big fun for fresh fish cooked on the embers as the locals do!

Day 3: Ouarzazate

Day 4: Ouarzazate / Zagora / Mhamid

Wake up breathing the pure air of the Atlas Mountains. After breakfast, get ready for an SUV ride to the desert towards the dunes of the Sahara desert at the M’hamid. Take a camel trek into the dunes to get to the bivouac camp site where you’ll enjoy a dinner under the desert sky and a night in a nomadic tent; all the makings of a lifetime vacation.

Day 5: Mhamid / Merzouga

Wake up at sunrise to enjoy the beautiful desert sunrise, after breakfast, take the camels back to our SUV for to get to Merzouga. You will enjoy a picnic lunch on route. At Merzouga, dinner and night at the hotel.The dunes of Merzouga is well known for their beauty especially at sunrise and sunset. The sand of Merzouga is well known also for its therapeutic properties.

Day 6: Merzouga / Todra Gorges

After breakfast, departure to Goulmima where we will explore this charming berber village. Berber lunch before continuing our visit to the magnificent valley of Amellago and on to the the picturesque Todra. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Day 7: Todra Gorges / Marrakech

After breakfast, departure for the route of the thousands Kasbahs. We’ll make a stop to enjoy the Valeey of Dades and we ‘ll have lunch at the Kalaa of Mgouna: the city of roses. After unch, visit the Taourirt and Tifoult Kasbahs before continuing to Marrakech where you’ll have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8: Casablanca

After breakfast, depart to Airport Med V. Assistance with airport formalities.

Desert Tours  From Marrakech Desert  3 days/ 2 night

Day 1 :  Marrakech –  atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – – Dades Gorge

We will make an early morning departure from Marrakech to cross the Tichka pass in the High Atlas Mountains with a short stop for coffee and a visit the argan oil cooperative. We will stop for lunch at UNESCO World Heritage site, Ait Ben Haddou, the most famous Kasbah in Morocco.  After lunch we will continue through the Skoura Oasis, where numerous ancient Kasbahs stand amongst the palm trees. From here, the route takes us through Kela’a M’gouna, the Valley of Roses, with a stop to see cosmetics locally made from the valley’s abundant roses. We will continue to the Dades Gorge where we will stay in a hotel by the river for the night.

Day 2:  Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Merzouga

After breakfast, we will have time to walk by the river before continuing to Todra Gorge for lunch. We will drive via the town of Erfoud to arrive at Erg Chebbi hotel early afternoon. We will prepare for departure on the camel into the desert to see the sunset on top of the dunes. We will have a traditional tagine dinner, drink delicious mint tea, listen to traditional Berber music while watching the stars and the rising moon in the amazing Sahara desert.  We will spend the night in a  traditional nomad tent.

Day 3  :  Merzouga –- Agdez – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

We will rise early to see the spectacle of the sunrise over the dunes of the Sahara before making our way back to the hotel for breakfast and a shower.  We will  pass through Rissani, the ancient capital of Morocco. The drive will take us through the Berber villages of Alnif and  N’Kob  and through the Draa Valley to Agdz.  We will continue to Ouarzazate, where we will have lunch and visit the Taourirt Kasbah. We will return to Marrakech over the High Atlas mountains.

Camel Trek Merzouga  – 2 nights in Merzouga Erg Chebbi 

This trip begins after a relaxed lunch (depending on when you arrive). The camels will be packed with food, blankets and everything else which we will need. The trek will start right into the desert, where it is completely secluded. The camp is located beside aproximatly a 120 meters high dune, which is where you will be spending hours of fun sandbording. During the first night, there will be a wonderful dinner around a campfire. In the morning, after having breakfast we will have around 2 hours to reach our next destination. We will stop for lunch next to a desert tree ‘Tamarist’ for about 1 1/2 hrs. In the shadow of this tree, we will have our lunch. After lunch we head towards the home of a Touareg family with whom you will spend your second night and share some time with. Next day we take you back to the village after having your breakfast. *Note, this tour can be done in reverse. The first night is spent with a Touarey family and the second night is spent at the oasis. Sandboarding with take place on day 2 after departure from the Touarey family.
