Tour From Errachidia To Khamlia
Day 1
Errachidia → Erfoud → Rissani → Merzouga
In the morning departure from Errachidia towards the desert.During the journey, they will cross the Great Palm Oasis, where they will make a stop to enjoy the spectacular scenery visiting the Open Museum of Fossils, a mixture of store and museum, where thousands of fossils are exhibited in different states. Then, they will follow the path and they will know Rissani where they will be able to admire its peculiar market, unique in these latitudes. This is where you can enjoy a delicious typical Berber meal. We will follow the path through the Ziz Valley, a large palm grove that will take you to your destination the desert dunes. Here they will stop and ride a dromedary to enter the dunes and enjoy a sunset that they will never forget.
Upon arrival at the haimas camp, an excellent tea awaits you along with an excellent Berber dinner and all set with the music of the tam tam (drums). They will enjoy a unique night, thanks to the large number of stars that populate the desert nights. They will sleep in luxurious haimas. They will get up early to see the sunrise and return by dromedaries until they reach the hostel for breakfast.
Day 2
Merzouga → Desert Excursion → Camel Rides → Khamlia
At 09 am after your breakfast, we will start to do the grand tour of the Erg Chebbi dunes to explore a saharyan life. We cross the desert landscape (salt lakes, black desert with volcanic stones, dray rivers … ), Paris-Dakar tracks by meeting with a Berber nomads, mines of M’Ifis, small oasis and villages like Khamlia of the black people of Sudan (Gnawa). After the lunch break which will be on the road, back to the hotel to make you leave of camel rides to witness the sunset and sunrise in the desert, enjoying a quiet night under a private nomad tent and shooting stars … !
Day 3
Merzouga → Ziz Valley → Errachidia
After attending the sunrise in your camp, back to the hostel for breakfast and shower. We are moving towards Errachidia via a different route trail by visiting the careers of fossils in full desert. And Erfoud, we pass the fascinating valley of Ziz to arrive at Errachidia in the afternoon. You can visit the large dam and the gorges of Ziz in the evening and end of our tour.
